An X-Men Evolution Fanfic Pietro woke to the cacophony of screeching and thundering drums Lance for some reason called “music”. Why he had to play that horrid stuff so loud, Pietro didn’t know. “Turn it off!”
“No.”
That wasn’t Lance’s voice. He sat up, and memories flooded back as he recognized the hotel room around him. After yet another day of wandering around the city, he and Wanda had decided to stay there for the night.

She glanced up and their eyes locked. So much for the element of surprise. She grinned, the white of her teeth flashing against the deep blue of her skin. “Hello, Logan.”
He pounced, knocking her back into the counter and holding his claws against her throat.

Where they had usually been able to reuse the few textbooks they owned every year, there were now too many students to go without ordering more.
A new shipment of books was left outside, and Ororo carried it in. They needed to go to the professor, so she headed towards his office, but stopped outside the door when she heard shouting.
