Shards and Sketches: Chapter II
A Kingdom Keepers Fanfic Even by lunch, Maybeck still couldn’t wrap his head around Finn’s panicked text from the night before. He’d given the briefest summary possible of how the Overtakers had used him to curse Amanda, though he was sure Jess had been the intended target.
First Charlene, then Willa, and now Jess. Worse than that, Amanda had been cursed, not stuck in SBS, which made it much harder to help her.

An Akagami no Shirayuki-hime (Snow White with the Red Hair) Fanfic
Three wishes.
At least, that’s what the fairytales say. She doesn’t know if that applies to goblins or just fairies and genii, but she’s desperate, and if this goblin is going to keep insisting she’s not his bride, well . . . she might as well take the opportunity.
“I need a job.” The words tumble out, far from the usual respectful tone she would usually use with a ghost.

Shards and Sketches: Chapter I
A Kingdom Keepers Fanfic Divide them, and they stand no chance against us. Maleficent’s voice echoed in Jez’s head.
Jez didn’t understand most of the plan, but that didn’t matter. All she had to do was lure one of the hosts alone into the park after-hours, and Maleficent would take care of the rest.
Finn was the obvious choice. He already seemed interested in her from their one conversation, so it shouldn’t be too hard to convince him to meet her.

New Alliances: Chapter 3
An X-Men Evolution Fanfic Rogue thought showers were probably human kind’s greatest invention. Even better was the fact that there were three in the women’s bathroom the Fury guy had shown them, so she and Tabby could take one at the same time.
She was fairly certain the horrible green stuff that had trapped her had been washed off several minutes ago, but the hot water felt so good, she decided to stay in a while longer.

New Alliances: Chapter 2
An X-Men Evolution Fanfic After several hours of sleep on the plane and a couple packs of peanuts for supper, Scott was feeling significantly better . . . except for one thing.
“What if they say no? What do we do then?”
Jean sighed. “I don’t know.”
Their plane pulled up to the gate and the seatbelt sign went off. Several dozen seatbelts clicked open at once. Scott and Jean stood up and waited in line to exit the plane, then followed the crowd out of the airport.

New Alliances: Chapter 1
An X-Men Evolution Fanfic Ororo couldn’t turn off the tv. She could no longer see any of her students, but she sat frozen, listening to the reporters go on and on about “dangerous individuals” and “military investigations”.
Children, she wanted to shout. They were children.
The news story had been running for three hours now, and none of them had returned. Her only solace was that the reporters had no idea where they were either, which she hoped meant they had all escaped.

Lines in the Sand: Chapter 9
An X-Men Evolution Fanfic “Scott!” The scream came from the living room.
Scott had lived in the mansion long enough to know when someone yelled like that, you dropped whatever you were doing to help, so he turned off the stove, pulled his pan away from the hot eye, then took off running.
He didn’t see anything when he reached the living room. No assassins, burglars, fighting teenagers, nothing. Nothing strange at all except Amara’s horrified expression as she stared at the tv.

Lines in the Sand: Chapter 8
An X-Men Evolution Fanfic Pietro wasn’t sure what he had expected his father’s secret base to look like, but it definitely wasn’t the dingy, water-side warehouse Sabertooth dragged them to. It occurred to him that they had no reason to believe Sabertooth was really taking them to their father. What if he just wanted to get them alone? What if he was trying to kill them?
He stepped closer to his sister and touched her arm.

Beauty and the Sea Beast: The Princess Tourney
A Four Kingdoms Fanfic Isla
I stared up at the ceiling of the ship, listening to Millie’s breathing beside me. I still couldn’t believe I was on an actual, whole ship, floating on top of the ocean. I hadn’t really believed I would ever seen one that wasn’t already wrecked.
Millie’s breathing grew slower, and I waited a few more minutes to be sure she was asleep, then sat up. Something strange was going on here, and only one person could give me the answers I needed.

Beauty and the Sea Beast: Prologue
A Four Kingdoms Fanfic I clutched the rail on the side of our ship and closed my eyes, tilting my face up to the rain. It didn’t matter how much time I spent on or in it, I always enjoyed the ocean.
The rain pelted down, and I knew I should go inside soon to warm up, but I wasn’t ready yet. Wind whipped around me, dragging the voices of my siblings to me.
