When Mr. Bagman offered to make a bet with them, Fred was thrilled. He and George had been wondering where they would find someone willing to take their bet. He looked at George and knew they were in agreement.
They settled the amount with Mr. Bagman, not feeling disappointed at all to have lost their pocket money. Their father wasn’t very happy about it, but Fred knew he wouldn’t mind too much when they won.

Fred was sitting in the common room playing exploding snap with George when Ron came in.
“Hey, Ron. How did class go?”
Ron shrugged and dropped his bag on the couch. He and Harry sat down together and began their homework. “It was fine, I guess.”
“How was your first Divination class?” George asked without looking up from the game. Hermione snorted from the corner where she sat working.

A Marvel Fanfic The dancehall was crowded that night. Besides all the people dancing, each table had several people sitting at it. All except one where a pretty girl with red hair sat alone, slowly sipping her drink.
While she sat, she considered the days. She was at the dancehall tonight. Tomorrow she wouldn’t show. The next three days she would, but at a different time each night. She had already been following a similar pattern for the past three weeks.
